Sizing down to the 1X was the right call—it still drapes nicely without being baggy. The fabric feels substantial enough to wear alone, and the black is a true deep black that pairs with everything.

Ordered two sizes to be safe, and the 2X fit perfectly when I sized down from my usual 3X. The fabric has just enough stretch to feel supportive without squeezing me. I’ve already worn it to brunch and to the grocery store — it really does dress up or down.

The fabric has a nice weight to it—not flimsy at all, and it drapes well for dressing up or down. I went with my usual size and it fits fine, though I can see why they recommend sizing down if you're between sizes.
